Early Vision

Five stars honestly aren’t enough for Early Vision. I don’t normally write reviews, but this office deserves one. I have PTSD and pretty severe anxiety, and going into unfamiliar places and dealing with people I don’t know can be much harder for me than most people would ever realize. I usually go into appointments already uncomfortable and ready to get out as quickly as possible. That was not my experience here at all. From the moment I walked into Early Vision, every single person I encountered made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient walking through the door. They talked to me like a person. They joked with me, made me laugh, answered my questions, and somehow made me feel like I was around people I had known forever instead of sitting in a doctor’s office. What meant the most to me was that I never felt rushed, judged, dismissed, embarrassed for asking questions, or like I was being difficult. I felt comfortable. I felt heard. And I genuinely felt cared about. For someone with PTSD and anxiety, that is a much bigger deal than I can probably put into words. The doctor was wonderful, and the staff was absolutely exceptional. Even while I was trying contacts for the first time and figuring out glasses and what was going to work best for my vision, they were patient with me and made the whole experience feel easy instead of overwhelming. I left there feeling like these people actually cared whether I could see well and whether I was comfortable not just whether they had finished an appointment. There are plenty of places that can perform an eye exam or sell you glasses and contacts. It is much harder to find an office full of people who make you feel safe, welcome, cared for, and almost like a friend while they do it. Early Vision did that for me. I wish Google gave me more than five stars, because I would give them every one of them. ALL of the staff at Early Vision deserve to know that the way they treat people matters and for this patient, it mattered more than they probably even realized. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars simply aren’t enough.
