Dr. Shah is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She was born and raised in Bossier City, LA. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology at The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!) and received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Shah completed her clinical training at Willis Knighton Eye Institute in Shreveport, LA, Vision Source Eyecare in Kansas City, MO, and The Eye Center in Memphis, TN. She has received extensive optometric training in full scope optometric care with different areas of focus including anterior and posterior segment ocular disease, dry eye disease and management, and surgical co-management.
In her spare time, Dr. Shah enjoys traveling, painting, and exploring local Austin restaurants with friends and family!
